Commodore comes back but with the PET

After getting knocked out by Apple, IBM and Amstrad, Commodore has rose from the ashes and has announced that it will release it’s first smartphone named “PET” after the famous Commodore PET computer. Since commodore hasn’t made a phone yet, it has started off with quite a start armed with a 5.5″ screen, 13MP rear camera, 1.7GHZ octa-core processor and a choice of either 16Gb or 32GB storage.

Starting at $300, it is actually a pretty good start even though it can barely beat the Asus Zenfone or the OnePlus One, but it is a good start and with the success of the PET, Commodore probably will improve the design and specs.
