Firefox OS developer preview and look

Mozilla has released the install file for Firefox OS developer preview and I am playing around with it right now. For now, the app is still in it’s experimental stage meaning that it isn’t perfect. For now, OS 2.5 is available for download on Mozilla’s website and my tablet isn’t looking so well with it trying to launch.

Mozilla is aiming for the Apple IOS feeling of simplicity and Android open-source environment put together to create a hybrid OS. I haven’t checked out the mobile marketplace but the interface for the preview is simple. I am not used to the feeling of round tiles and this interface after Symbian fell out of favor. With many apps and browser-grade security, Mozilla has upped it’s game.

Are there any devices running Firefox OS?

Yes there are, but they barely show up anywhere. Here is a website that can show you the different devices that run Firefox OS.
